France has accused Israel of violating the ceasefire agreement with Lebabnon highlighting ongoing tensions in the region despite efforts to maintain peace. Reports indicate that these alleged violations include military activities such as strikes, demolitions, and detonations near the southern Lebanese border. In one instance, Israeli forces detonated a building in Khiam and demolished a house in Maroun as-Ras, while the Lebanese army addressed unexploded Israeli munitions in the Bekaa region.

The ceasefire violations have raised concerns among international observers, with France criticizing Israel for bypassing the international committee tasked with monitoring the agreement. These incidents come amidst a broader backdrop of instability, as border residents in southern Lebanon assess damage from previous conflicts.
